It has been 30 days since “ice out” and several Loon sightings have been observed during that period. I can confirm a Nesting Pair on Rocky Point in the cat-tail bog furthest into the lake. I suspect another pair are down closer to the DNR boat landing, but have not observed the occupied nest. I can also confirm Nesting Eagle on the North Side of the Finger Bay. Next report will be in 30 days.
