Lake John was treated in the afternoon of April 29th, 2015 for Curly Leaf Pondweed on the southeast portion of the lake, 27.6 acres, the same as last year’s treatment. There are no restrictions on swimming or fish consumption. HOWEVER, if you have pets that go in the water and take a drink, you need to keep them out until after 5/13th. Also, do not irrigate food crops, ornamental or water livestock until after 5/13th.
