Thanks to all who helped move the huge bog on Saturday, June 11th. A very special thank you goes to the organizers of the “bog movers”…Denny Kugler and Bruce Berning with much assistance from Rich Comben and Mike Murphy in securing it. Now we know it takes more than 3 or 4 pontoons/boats to do the job. Eight were powering it across at a strong enough pace to get it close enough to shore to cable and anchor it. Denny and Bruce made 5 “claw-type” anchors to hold it. Job well done everyone. As Denny said “when we join together, we can do it and have fun at the same time”. Well said!!!
