Loon Watch Fall 2017

posted in: Loons, News | 0

As Fall officially arrives, I must say it’s very boring in the Northern Part of Lake John. It’s dominated with Sea Gulls. One young Loon still hangs around, but not seen every day. Once in a while a couple of other Loons will fly in for a social activity, but gone quickly. Duck hunters are active and maybe scare off some Geese and Loons? This may be my next to final report. I will let you know how things play out as freeze up occurs. See you in the Spring. Overall, a slow year for me.
